What Do You Love About You?

I want to starting time a revolution. A cocky-esteem revolution. A self-love revolution. A self-appreciation revolution.  Will y'all join me?

I'yard not talking about conceit. Non selfish, self-centered insecurity masquerading as conviction. Do you know what I'm talking about? "Oh my God, it is SO hard being this skinny, my friends are E'er making jealous comments. It's Then annoying." That'southward insecurity, don't be fooled.

I'm talking almost true, calm recognition of your worth. Information technology doesn't need to be loud or bombastic, or atoning. It only is. It'due south exactly the way you name the strengths of friends and loved ones without a second thought.

It's not flaunting. It'due south gratitude. I desire you to exist able to graciously give gratitude and recognition for all your wonderfulness.

What do you love about you?

Even if this is hard for you to respond, if you dig, and muster up some courage, yous volition find some little things that y'all tin can honestly say you honey nigh yourself. Start pocket-sized. (e.chiliad. I honey that freckle on my genu.)

If you really struggle with it, talk to your family or a close friend and do the exercise together, making a listing of what you love about each other. That tin can be your starting signal.

1. Start by painting a background color you enjoy – something bold – in watercolor, tempra, or acrylic.

2. Draw a circle or a heart in the heart of the page, and inside write "What Practice Y'all Love Almost Y'all?"

3. Draw wavy lines all across the page.

four. Fill up in the lines by completing the phrase, "I love…" over and once again until you fill the page.  Don't let yourself cease until you fill it up.
